Early Years Forest School !!
Early Years Forest School !!
Early Years Forest School is for children ages 1-3 years with an attending caregiver. Outdoor Education Specialists facilitate an introduction to Forest School pedagogy, philosophy, and methodology. Gentle slopes and varied vegetation make an inviting natural setting for exploration, discovery, and adventure.
A primary goal is to create a safe and supportive space for social-emotional growth. Children will have the opportunity to build relationships with each other and strengthen their connection with their caregivers and the natural world. This program allows for healthy conflict management and self-regulation development. Additionally, caregivers will have the opportunity to learn from outdoor education specialists and build a community of support. Our program is designed to foster a natural love of learning outdoors that can branch beyond our class time into home and community life.
